The Post-Journal, Jamestown NY - In Years Past - 50 years ago - “In 1960, Lucille Ball and her former husband, Desi Arnaz, were among defendants in a $600,000 damage suit involving the invention of a baby walker. William H. Reinholz, the plaintiff, contended that he devised the walker 10 years ago and subsequently disclosed its nature in the expectation that he would share in any profits from its manufacture. The Walker resembled a baby carriage which a child could propel and which could not be tipped over. Miss Ball and Arnaz were named defendants because the walker was known originally as the 'Ricky, Jr.', the name of the child in their television program,†published this date in 2010.

Desi and Amy operate the Boulder City Ballet, Colorado, in their hometown. Thanks, 'Harry' for keeping me informed; this worries me a LOT, though; since he is 'family', and to put something other than credible dates in my chronology would be troubling. Where can I find out the EXACT truth? Thanks for sending me a private message if you so choose. I'll wait to hear from you before I 'change' the date.
