Mot Morenzi
http://www.people.com/article/bewitched-tv-series-remake-nbc-elizabeth-montgomery-60s-sitcom?xid=rss-fullcontent The TV remake craze continues. Considering the disaster that was the 2005 film, I don't have high hopes for this one. Elizabeth Montgomery was the heart and soul of the original and it's hard to think of anyone being able to carry that torch.
FreddieMertz
I think it would be fun if they remade this. It wouldn't be as great as the original but I'm sure that it could be a good show in its own way. My only wish is that they don't bring in a Paul Lynde impersonator. Taylor
Bad idea. I'm sure it will be canceled right away.

Brock
I hated the film overall, but thought Kidman was a delightful Samantha.

Irene Kampen Tripp
That Film was POORLY written and could have been a fun Ala Brady Bunch Movie IF the powers that be gave a squirt about turning out SOLID entertainmentn.. Will or no Will it stunk on ice... of course his crap didn't add any better smell lol. People need to understand that resurecting KNOWN AND BELOVED material will be judged. MERCIFULLY. I bet if they had so me old school gay guys helping them out it would be good ... they need to keep the CORE tight but go in new directionc with the rest of it... I wish them luck.... I'm doubtfully it will work
JoeySanJoaquin
I liked the casting of Kidman, but Will Ferrell just sets my tith on edge! Great cast for the most part but for Ferrell he just ruined it for me and despite my affinity for Shirley MacLaine, she was totally miscast and wasted in the integral Endora part.... let's face it these "reimaginings" rarely work unless they are well-written and clever enough to put a new "spin"/angle on the original, of which I can think of far few examples (e.g. Addams Family, Brady Bunch) that work than many more that DIDN'T! Interesting. I really liked Shirley as Endora. The three big plusses of this film for me were Nicole Kidman, MacLaine, and Steve Carrell as Uncle Arthur. UKlucyfan
You need Agnes Moorehead. No one can beat her as Endora
nertz2mertz
You need Agnes Moorehead. No one can beat her as Endora I totally agree! I always for some reason thought of Joan Collins to play Endora in a Bewitched remake. But this was several years ago. Not sure now. I read that Daphne was the name they decided to give Tabatha's daughter. Everyone (well almost) knows that all the female witches names end with the letter A. That was a rule the writers gave among other rules. I hope they stick to those same rules. I think Tabatha's name should either be Samantha after her grandma or little Endora. We'll see.
