Brock
Here is a segment from the short-lived TV series "Hi Honey, I'm Home!" -- Gale's second to last TV appearance, and the final appearance of Theodore J. Mooney. Gale comes in around 12:35.
JoeySanJoaquin
Boy, I wish I could get these to play!! Brock, do you suppose it has something to do with my (personal) settings or something?? Let me know if you hear of anyone else with this issue... but it's certainly not "urgent"! mikidiki
I can't believe that was in 1991! He looks younger than he did in Life With Lucy! He looks GREAT!
WELL!
That's some crazy shiz.
Brian Mc
Absolutely--the makeup people did a great job and the fact he was in his trademark black suit from "The Lucy Show" certainly helped--plus you could sense he took great joy in delivering those lines again! Brian Mc
Excellent, near faultless makeup job--but just one thing missing, otherwise it would have been perfect and Gale would have seemed to emerge from 1963 intact....his comb-over at the top of his head. A small hairpiece would have done the trick!
Brock
Quite probably Gale's final publicity shot as Mr. Mooney in 1991:
Mot Morenzi
Aww, I love this clip. The show's concept seems extremely half baked, but worth it for this moment alone.
Luvsbway
I really liked this show, of course I was 15 or so when it aired.
Desiluforever
I really liked this show, of course I was 15 or so when it aired. Yeah, I now think it is so funny because it is such a cheesy 90s sitcom, but for Gale to come back as Mr. Mooney is just so special.
Taylor
Wow. I had forgotten all about this show. I think I was 11 or 12 when it first aired. Now I feel old.
Will
Mr. Mooney was very handsome. He looked great for his age. His line are delivered in Mr. Mooney's cutesy style. This cameo was great though the script leaves a lot to be desired. Gale should have appeared more throughout the show.
