HarryCarter
Vivian is interviewed during her run in Butterflies are Free at Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse in 1973. It's very short. Viv's comments about how she doesn't think the writing on Lucy's show is as good at that time is interesting. I love how she says "Dickie Van Dyke!"
Mot Morenzi
Thanks for sharing this! I’ve seen two shows at the Playhouse and her photograph is on the lobby wall. I think this is the first time I’ve ever heard her talk about her tenure on “The Lucy Show” in an interview context. I wish there were more preserved interviews where she shared her thoughts on her many Lucy-related projects.
Luvsbway
I love how Viv talks about the decline in writing on The Lucy Show. And does anyone else call Dick Dickey? Could they have shot that any closer to the water. I was worried if she leaned any farther back she'd fall in. Wonderful find.
