Brock
Bluewater, which recently issued the Betty White comic book as part of their Female Force series, will issue a Lucille Ball biography to complement their series on comedians: Bluewater launches creator-owned line Monday, May 23 2011, 1:35pm EDT By Mark Langshaw, Gaming / Comics Reporter Bluewater Productions is launching a creator-owned biography line dedicated to famous comedians. The publisher has confirmed that the 'Comics' imprint will debut at the end of this month with a one-shot dedicated to George Carlin. "By adding this title, it gives us the flexibility to go beyond the 'person of the moment' and concentrate on a series of hugely impactful personalities who made us laugh," said Bluewater president Darren G. Davis. "Because of the nature of the material, we hope to get creatively humorous as well; but not to the point where we obscure the impact and genius of the subject." The Carlin issue, which is written by Jaymes Reed and illustrated by Apriyadi Kusbiantoro, will be followed by a one-shot based on the life of Lucille Ball in August. Bluewater is best known for its 'Fame', 'Political Power' and 'Female Force' biography lines. Last month, the publisher announced plans to launch a superhero universe. http://www.digitalspy.ca/comics/news/a321096/bluewater-launches-creator-owned-line.html

C L A U D E
Cool! I wouldn't mind getting it. Not sure about the cover though... Well, the cover's VERY important, you'd be surprised at how lousy SOME covers of Lucy books can be.
Lucy's Aussie Fan
Yeah a cover IS everything. If you have a very eye-catching cover then that is motivation to get the book!
Lucy's Aussie Fan
I know the saying is "Never judge a book by its cover" but we all look at how the cover looks like first BEFORE reading the book! That is normal!

Mister Hepburn
Something about the face and hair doesn't thrill me. Still, I'm really excited to get my hands on a copy or two.
