Will
Lucy looks great. It is amazing she could look at least 10 years younger till her stroke in 1988. I love how she said "hunk" and her deep interest while gazing at the picture of the recovery center. This was aired 11/30/1986.

AND it was Lucy who sent out the invitations i remember her saying, haven't watched this one in years. ALL the Variety clubs tributes should be put out on DVD, that would even raise money for their charity.

HarryCarter
I'm glad this has finally been posted in its entirety! Lucy does indeed look terrific here. Cary Grant died the night before the show aired.

Brock
Oh my, you're kidding, how sad. Was he originally slated to appear? He is seated next to Lucy throughout the show. There is also a disclaimer at the end of the show in Cary's memory.

Oh sorry, did not know that as i still can't watch it, no sound here at work and computer on the fritz at home. And all i remember from the original viewing is that Lucy spoke and looked lovely. C L A U D E
Just sneaked a LOOK and so many of the same people who were at Lucy's, but with more of the staunch republican crowd, Cary looked fine, such a shame. Lucy looked sensational in that dress as opposed to her dull pant suit for Carol Burnett's.
