Brock Posted February 24, 2014 Report Share Posted February 24, 2014 A note about "The List" -- this was a process re-tooled by Jessica (Ricardos4Ever) on the old Lounge as a fun and different way of coming up with our collective "Best of..." episodes. I thought since we have so many new people here since we last did this in nearly eight years ago, it would be fun to do this again -- and go through all six seasons of I Love Lucy, the entire series of the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, all six seasons of The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy, as well as Life with Lucy to have The Lounge's ultimate episode from each "Lucy" season. Caution: It can occasionally be painful when one of your favourite episodes are cut, but it is worth it at the end. Play nice, and if you want to include why you've eliminated a particular episode, so much the better -- but be prepared for fallout! I post Jess's original post in its entirety below, with thanks to HC for digging it out of the rubble of the Old Lounge: _____________________________________________________________________________________________ This game is based on a show called “The List,” which I believe aired on VH1 awhile back.Basically, all of the episodes from ILL Season 1 are listed below. The first poster will create a new post, copy and paste the list into that post, and remove his/her least favorite episode from the list. The next person to come along will do the same with the list from the previous post, and so on and so forth.Obviously, the list will get shorter and shorter each time. It’ll be interesting to see what episode we come up with at the end. Maybe it’ll be predictable, maybe not. We’ll see.Just one rule: In order to make it a little more interesting, a poster must wait at least two rounds before taking a turn again. That way we don’t have a situation where only two posters are going back and forth removing episodes from the list continuously. Have fun!
