Movie Premiere Photos

I was reading Jimmy's book last night and in the section on Your Mine and Ours in the on location chapter it mentioned that the real Beardsley family was at the premiere. This got me thinking. I don't think I've seen many photos of Lucy at her own movie premiers. I know I have seen photos from Forever Darling in Jamestown, Long Long Trailer at Radio City. So that's 2 out of the 80 some movies she did. Now I know she wouldn't have been at some of those early bit part movies or the B movies, but what about all those from the 40's that were of A list quality. I don't think I have even seen any from the 60's. Not sure if I have even seen any Mame ones. So if you got them, post them.

This is a good question. I'm trying to think what other movies would have had a major premiere. If The Facts of Life did, she would not have been able to attend since she was doing Wildcat at the time. Lucy and Bob Hope did a major publicity tour to promote Critic's Choice. Lucy also did one with Maureen O'Hara for the release of Dance, Girl, Dance.

Here are some photos from Lucy at the star studded Mame premiere at the Cinerama Dome. The event had an entire Merv Griffin Show dedicated to it.

DOUBLE WOW! The Scarface one is showing up as an X so i can't wait to see it at work later tonight, maybe it'll show up THERE. She must have winced at every F***! from Pacino!

She probably just put her face into a permanent wince to save time after the first 10 minutes or so.

Oy, without the eyelashes, geez, didn't she see herself? And she goes to a Premiere like that? Must have looked better in color though, even the mink coat looks bad.

The Arnazes appear to be at the opening of "That Certain Feeling" starring Bob Hope and Eva Marie Saint in 1956 here:

She had so many different and incredibly beautiful LOOKS, if you put them all together, sometimes it's amazing to think it's the same woman, as she looks so different.
