HarryCarter
Carol will also be on The Colbert Report on October 8 and Watch What Happens Live on October 9.
Brock
Interesting. I can't see Carol weaving a Harvey Korman incontinence anecdote into Watch What Happens Live.
Luvsbway
The TiVo will be set. This sounds interesting.

C L A U D E
Carol is marked as one of the guests on Fallon's Tonight show this evening. Unfortunately film actor Jeremy Renner will probably be brought out first.

C L A U D E
And you thought that was funny? Typical late night sketch, a waste of time. I think Carol suffered the same fate as Lucy when she guested on any show, they give them lousy material way beneath their talents as they know they can make caviar outta baloney. And people will tune in to see them, whatever they do. Carol looked great though.

C L A U D E
You grew up seeing the very BEST, like ILL, how could you find that sophomoric BIT funny? The unfunny dialogue, fake slapping, repetitive nonsense? The ONLY funny part for me was Carol going back to sit down after getting out of her costume looking absolutely exhausted. LOL! C L A U D E
I often do at my age, they were mocking soap operas, I get that. I'm just sayinnnnnnnnnnnnnn Carol deserved better.
C L A U D E
She's been around forever and has had such a great career, didn't she warrant more than those say nothing interviews for a few minutes? I'm just thankful he didn't have her playing beer pong.
JoeySanJoaquin
Absolutely. So did I and amazingly ...they did it LIVE!! Over 80 and what a trouper!!
C L A U D E
Carol was great, as usual, but the material was very feeble.
FreddieMertz
Well, that is kind of the point of sketches like this. The dialogue is normal but the performances make it hilarious. That's how a lot of the sketches were back on The Carol Burnett Show.
C L A U D E
I thought they were supposed to be FUNNY. On her own show, they were well written, that helps a lot. Some of the comedy on Ellen or Fallon is just funny to children (Ellen) or people on drugs (SNL or Fallon) LOL!
HarryCarter
Carol is being interviewed by Rosie O'Donnell tonight at the 92 St. Y in New York. The event will be live streamed tonight at 7:30pm EST. http://92yondemand.org/livecast/

HarryCarter
Is this something to be shown on The View later? No, this just an onstage interview. It was not for The View. I attended tonight and they were both terrific.

Brock
Saw "Love Letters" on Friday with Carol and she was wonderful! She came out the other stage door though so we missed her. Naturally, we went back tonight and caught her as she was coming out and she had a lovely Lounge encounter with HC, "UncleHarry", "Mrs. UncleHarry" and me.

WHERE THE HECK is the photo; we could blow it up and stick it on the marque at the Reg; finally, Carol in Jamestown!
Luvsbway
Glad you got to see her. I had read she exited from another place. Seemed to piss off people on the Bway boards.
Brock
Glad you got to see her. I had read she exited from another place. Seemed to piss off people on the Bway boards. We saw the show on Friday and she came out the OTHER door while we (and most) were at the stage door. But last night we grabbed out programs from the night before and staked out the other door -- and out she popped: full grown and legendary. Lol She didn't sign the playbills but seemed in really good spirits. Once she was settled in her SUV she rolled down the window and shook hands with a lot of people. Hal Linden?
