As a child growing up, I thought she and Desi/Ricky, were about the same in real life, as was Ethel and Fred- then I learned, Lucy Ricardo, and Lucy Ball were opposites! Lucille Ball's speaking voice was much lower than the high pitched voice she used to play the child-like Lucy Ricardo. Lucy Ricardo had a way of energetically throwing caution to the wind and participating, while Lucy Ball was quiet and reserved- its funny to see the differences between reality and TV have you noticed any differences?
